Hi whats the benefit of

-Ecu Advanced Coding
-Online Ecu Programming

For full locksmith version
Are you still able to match ecus etc or will this be a serious disadvantage to things beyond keys ie replacing ECUs etc

BTW is their a UK distributor for this or just buy off website?

You need full if you want to work with it as a locksmith.
I think 3d group is selling it or just buy it from microtronik or mk3..

hi, i don't think it is a serious disadvantage not to have the -ecu advanced coding and online ecu programming unless you want to update modules to the latest versions!

for ecu swaps etc with secondhand ecu with the same part numbers it should not be a problem as the software still has coding build in.
if you find that you need the advanced coding and programming you can easily add it at a later date. well that's what i plan on doing as i have ordered my autohex2 and hextag programmer yesterday.

You need it full for programming keys on fem/BDC!

AHX0005 is 1150 dollars more plus the yearly update fee is more for AHX0004 and AHX0005 packages (400 dollars more!)

When unlock fem unit many times is asking to update the unit.
There is the option in "advanced" but not always work.

I just finished a fem akl with the AH lite. I obtained the ISN from ecu and unlocked fem with AH and learned the key on the car. My confidence with BMW is so much greater with this tool in my arsenal.

I am hoping they come out with and annual Subscription deal for someone who owns full versions of Autohex and Hextag as it can we very expensive doing these two subscriptions...this is the only thing holding me back from buying a Hextag so my Subscriptions would be $750 for AH and $350 for Hextag....and in my world $1100 Yearly Subs is alot of money for subscriptions.

I feel more secure with AH/HT in my arsenal, its worth the money. I have my VVDI2 detected to VAG but I'll still do some bimmers here and there with it.

For hextag You have to pay subscription only if you want to clone ECU.

Either way you have to pay for this subscription to read isn with Hextag or Autohex, right? I was told you can't get around this .. if this I'm false then this is exciting news.
