Autohex will give a warning message for the ECU which need ignition for reading ISN.only in that case you need ignition all other ecu's you can read even without ignition. Also even it failed while reading without ignition our Indiv programming feature can get it back alive.

Hello have anyone connection plan hextag for CAS1 ? THX
Hi see the Lite locksmith package -
Is there any need for missing "ISN Reading from Tricore Ecus by boot mode. "
on Lost Keys situation?
See reading ECU on bench using factory mode ? Or is this non-tricore ecus ?
Thanks
You should be able to retrieve ISN from ECUs on bench as appose to getting full read with ISN incl. in Boot mode. Locksmith lite does not allow modification altering of ISN ect. hence no need for Boot mode.
