Default EWS3-0D46J has no k-line comiunicacion

    Hi guys.
I have a problem with the EWS3 = D46J box, it has no K-line communication signal from inside the inmobox.
car EWS fails, I can not communicate with any machine VFDI, Autocom.
and tried to read Xprog from the connector and can not be read, with the connector if I have GND and + 5V MCUs paws, so I think it's the K-line which is giving problems. or any component is dead
I had to read the MCU unwelding and placing it in adapter. how easy it is to clone another EWS3 with the same old data.

I would like to know that physical electronic component is breaking in these EWS3 for an evidence table and verify that I am right.

    Some may enlighten

    hello mate,
if reading with k-line or xprog and cannot read try to use ak90 and read direct from MCU.
you can write file back to another EWS it can work.

in my case i read with xprog cannot read but when read direct from MCU with AK90 it works and write file back to different ecu.

    mate thanks for responding.
    I have in my possession the Dumps with xprog and adapter (HC11ES / EA9 P / C 1-002-0011 PLCC52)

the car does not recognize the EWS3, I checked stream in legs MCU in the same plate EWS and everything is perfect.
I think it's the K-line, which is failing in EWS3, why not read with xprog from the connector.

this is my question, and I can check this ruling? that components pass the line-K, may be the Relay or other component? someone has diagram

I had the same issue here. No K communication in car BUT!! no problem to communicate via K-line PIN13 on the bench via XPROG...
Another EWS works fine in car...weird thing but true .
