a lot of programmers don't identify the cluster type... these tools are made to be a tool for people who know what they are doing, not for people who don't know what they are doing and moan because its not a 1 button process that talks you through the whole procedure.

I know that it sounds weird, what I'm about to say, but I'm starting to think that it's good that devices doesn't work as good as they are claim to work. It shouldn't be so simple. Anyone can do 1 button job.

Hi to all, danger with VVDI2 , I try make key in BMW e87 cas2 by obd and make key good,but when I want start the car..... the engine not start...... the eeprom of ecu Has been deleted part.... I don't know how ...but make this.....So be careful

He can always use microcontroller with CAN BUS, write his own firmware and then scripts for every car/ecu...

Have anyone of you guys experience, chip not connected? I'm working on Audi A6 2008, I have the J518 file and I added a key to it but it's saying chip not connected when I try to write it back. I had the same issue when reading it, it's not the soldering. I had the same issue when reading a Porsche module I read it eventually after several tried but now I thinking it's either the cable or the prog.

Pass thru function still not working for me.
I set VVDI2 to Toyota in Pass thru config application but got an error message saying 'unable to connect to VIM'.
Tested using Techstream v 11.00.017 and 10.20.030.

I have a vas5054a with pass thru drivers and that works fine with Techstream.

When
are they ever going to work on passthrough device drivers ???

If you want help then post some information.. background info on car, what you have done? you have not even said if you have tried to program a key or if you got to a job and it was not running.
