But you almost made it sound like you are not buying your stuff directly from China.
What you say is not possible to be achieved. All tools come from China, so you just need to tell your seller you need the English version.
If he can't get it for you just run to the next seller.

But there is rules to be followed, Xhorse are pretty serious about the dealers rules. If the device was buyed in Portugal in the official dealer, your language will be in portuguese, if your device was buyed in Aliexpress and you ask your dealer to put in portuguese, you will see the answer you got. This is the way Xhorse have to try protect their dealer. Almost all regions in Europe have their own Xhorse dealer.

Must have been a dodgy batch of keys, can't remember where i got them from, but they were showing as locked.
Tried another one which was unlocked and that went in fine.

Its still PQ car i think but use mqb48 chip. Same as newer Scirocco and Caddy.

vvdi2 in service mode reads immo only as NEC 24c64 2014+, in mqb menu error, dash vdo
key can be learned on table if car is keyless, and kessy not connected?
