i have a q7 from 2013 want to make spare key for it (banana key). the vvdi can not read cs thru obd, so i have take out the ecu and read it on the bench i have now the cs (6byts) and pin from the ecu.
can i put now manuely the cs and make dealer key and add key ? or do need also to read J518 ? DIGITAL KAOs.jpg

No. This year you need 12byte. 6 not enought
Need full cs from elv

Is it safe with vvdiprog to read on the bench ? Because i have read diffrent storys.

You said spare key , so you have working key ?
If you have working key You did wrong at beginning , you do not need to read ECU if you have working key, so all this time you spend is for nothing .

Just read J518 ,use 256k option, save eeprom , then make a dealer key and program it , put 2 keys total .If you have key form Audi Dealer then no need to make dealer key.
