I never done any cas4 on car and I won't do them,same as cas3+.
If you do these by obd it's your choice. Everyone is free to choose how to do them. My friend had extra power on car too..and ...
I think one problematic CAS is the one with elv.

ok how do i know wich cas has elv? can i read on the cas numbers? i see that one without is 322 with elv is 323 ... this soldering thing is a bit risky too or not?
what if you burn eeprom or something else? what about this eeprom clip is reading ok? i m new in this vvdi programing keys i m waiting to arrive i bought vvdi2 and prog with clip and some adapters. have a lot of experience in doing other cars and cas2 and 3 also without+ version but now i m expanding my knowlege to vvdi and cgdi .. bought cgdi for benz cars and vvdi2 and prog for bmw audi new toyota ...
But i really dont want to brick the cas i saw on forums you can update cas then with e-sys or winkpf trough enet cable if car doesnt start?

Anyone done range rover sport Cem and wrote to super chip without having to write back to cem? Tried to write a new chip in as well to unused 3rd slot, but didn't have any chips, so cloned a 46 off a new ebay flip key with Handy and tried to write that in. Neither worked, but this is my first cem akl, not sure where it went wrong. Does this dump look okay?
