Default Winols 501 or 502 or ECM Titanium or Swiftec which one to choose

    Hello all dear members DK.

I want to buy orginal software for editing maps but i dont know which one to chose.
It is big diference with prices and i dont know what is included in software ??
for example from EVC we have :
    winols 502 + 20 chksum = 1590euro
    winols 501 + 20 chksum = 2990euro
    winols 501 full = 1190euro

    for ECM Titanium:
    ecm titanium full =2200 euro
    ecm titanium credit =890 euro

and swiftec is cost 4800 usd

I got some experience with winols but i dont know what is included in orginal package ?
if i buy winols 501 full without chksums i will get all damos which will find some maps for me ?
I know if you buy full Ecm titanium you have all checksums and damos till date.

    thank you

Hello feel free to contact me i can help you with all questions

Even the program the one of this you buy you have no checksum no damos
but you can buy the checksumms separetly or in 501 20CS or 501 newcomer you have 20 checksum Credits

for ecm there is no checksum activated at that price you need to pay about 1400 to have them activated but the checksums only support tuning zone checksum
for exemple you want do a immo off on a Edc15C7 with ecm then the checksum can't correct the file because the checksum area is 70000 - 7FFFF for ecm edc15C7 and the immo off is in the 10000 -1FFFF area

damos is not sold by evc only by evc ressellers but winols can import them
damos are not sold and used in ecm
damos are not supplyed with swiftec but i think it can import them

if you have other questions tell me

WinOLS doesnt gives you maps ready (must create them)
    ECM gives you maps ready.
Swiftec gives you maps (not very good for maps) + dpf/dtc/egr/kat/ etc, so i think for maps will be better ECM, and to make dpf/egr/dtc etc is better Swiftec.

For my work the best software is WinOLS, but i don't know your experience. If you are a professional tuner will be better using WinOLS.

Hope giving you a help. Best regards.

In this forum they al go i m so good at maps WInols etc and trust me 80% use titanium, and if u come to think about it why not? New version of titanium is far much better then the old cracked version running arround (ps i m the only one to have a copy where MED9.x and med17 drivers actually work lots).
If u want to do maps only and dont have lots of money and advanced knowledge , go for titanium and use winols to correct checksum , also most modern tools support checksum correction in writting.
if u have money go for swiftec!

So its look like ECM Titanium is good for beginners, swiftec for advanced ,and winols for pro.
all 3 softwares give possibility to modify the maps but:
ecm didnt cover all memory for checksum for example if we want to change something more then map
Swiftec is not so good for modify maps but have lot options for dpf, egr, immo...
and finally winols - you can do all does things in pro level but you need to know where you need to look for it and what to change.

    that is correct ?

so i have one more question . can someone send me some good maps org and mod for any car for analize what is what ?
or maybe someone can help me and say what i do wrong when his check my map ?
I know most of people dont want to help in this specific job, but if you not ask you will never get anything.

    Hello again

Now I finally need to chose which software i want to buy. And I think about swiftec because of many positive opinions. the negative is only its difficult to modify maps because is different then winols but is very good if you know how to use it.

Please all users of swiftec write your negative experience with this software , before i buy it

    Thank you

Guess people who buy swiftec is just for the extra modules, dpf,egr,dtc's... Etc not to do power tuning.

the best is the one with 20CS newcomer or full because you can never buy that credits at that price again !
you can say i don't need checksums ok but if you use a tricore boot kit that not linked to any subscribe server then you can win lot money because in one year that knowed subscribe servers cost you about 1000 1200 a year so you not need longtime to spare lot money !

    It's COMPLETELY NOT TRUE.

With Swiftec you have same level of freedom as OLS have, featured Map Manager (FREE), and special modules to help build own map packs, also Swiftec offer map packs if you want make your job faster or does not have big experience with creation of map packs youself. If you compare OLS/ECM/RACE or some other edition tool, with Swiftec you get lots of modules that other tools not even dream to have, it's TORQ/DPF/EGR/DTC/ADBLUE/MAF/FLAPS/SL/STARTSTOP/O2/LC Removal modules, and it's also included to base version of Swiftec.

    Map manager is here: *********

Swiftec have FREE and included autodetection of maps for Bosch MSA, EDC15, EDC16, EDC17; Delphi (include Trucks); Denso (include Trucks); Lucas; Motorola MEMS NNN, Perkins, Trucks; Phoenix (John Deere); Siemens MSE, MSD, Rotax, SIM2K; Temic; TRW (EMS2); Visteon. It covers much more ECU's than OLS can do. Here's more information: ************
And it also have module what OLS does not have, which name maps and put conversion values, so it build map pack automatically and FREE for you. Module "Automatical maps recognition" for Bosch EDC7/EDC15/EDC16/EDC17/ME7/MED17, Delphi DCM/CRD, Denso, Lucas Trucks, Marelli MJD, Motorola EMS/MEMSNNN, Siemens MSD80/SID/SIM2K/PCR/PPD, Temic Trucks ECUs. Here's more information: *************************************
