    Default Help recognising component

    Any one recognise the "CAP"? in the picture.
    Its out of a 12v/24v flashing roof light.

    Hello ,it's not a capacitor, it's coil inductor.

    Yes m8 it's just a coil inductor, just solder the leg back on

    Yeah measured in "milly henries" uh. If find them in power supplies , sky box, DVD etc.

    Mended a lead light, got the bloke to unwind it, wind back on and it worked

    Was Banned For Being Certifiably Insane and Stupid
