Wow, I think digicon should rename this thread to pros & cons of e2 Zgemma images, readers will learn a lot. The main reason I've kept the openvix image after my learning curve was that the crossepg works perfect with openvix, no crashing and full 7 days without missing channel info, it was the xmltv importer that caused me problems to the stage were I now recommend removing it on an openvix installation.

It could be renamed to pros and cons of any E2 image. These little quirks aren't limited to zgemma or any other box in particular, it is just the nature of the beast and why it should always be treated as a hobby, not just a method of watching cheap tv. The cheap tv brigade will always have problems because they aren't involved in the forums so don't read posts like this where without actually being about a particular problem it holds a wealth of information about the images in general. Quite frankly most of the people who are happy to help have been around for a long while and may not have experienced every fault, have probably read a thread about it somewhere on their travels
