B Max remote programming 2012

Hi quite strange this one it's the old flip key with separate transponder and remote which you separate to put in a new battery

I can not get it to program I turn it on off 4 times chines when in the off position but when I press the new remote nothing and then the original remote nothing

I think it's in programming mode but doesn't erase original either so quite confused but in the off position after the chime central locking isn't activated with the original until 10 sec or so have passed then central locking works with key in ignition but in off position

I've had a few funny fords but never one I couldn't program

nowadays there is 4x on / off, 6x on / off, 8x on / off.....

in the past the door locks would cycle if programming mode but nowadays it is mostly an audible chime.
did you hear a chime?

also i did a focus recently that required ignition OFF to program the remote. very weird.

Yes chime at 4 with ignition off but no extra chime when you press a remote just doesn't program

if that link works, it says try 4 if that doesn't work try 6 but no luck on either

try to turn ignition ON when you hear the chime. also make sure try with all doors closed, also with only driver door open.
ford can be weird sometimes.

Yeah I did, I've never had a problem ford

It didn't chime till the ignition went to off but I tried on, doors open, closed, seat belt on and key not in ignition but nothing

I found a few c max and s max funny sometimes no chime but not one I couldn't do, I haven't been able to find another to test yet

With the AD100Pro/MVP when you program the immobilser, the remote is automatically done at the same time, you cannot manually program the remote by cycling the ignition 4 times.
I couldn't see how it would work with a separate remote but it does.

This isn't the new flip ford which I've done loads of its the older bulkier flip like older mondeo

no way this programs at the same time unless there's a extra process to do it diagnostically

Don't know how other programmers work, but its automatic with AD100Pro and MVP
Left side, middle icon of remote with "A" next to it.
When its a manual procedure, the icon changes to a hand.

Silly question but did you take the key out of the ignition ?? after the chime
then press the button to program it ?? SORRY din't see you other post

If not thats why......all Ford remote you can program to any car up to 2012
all remotes below........In the photos

Sometime with the C & S Max when the button is pressed you don't get the chime had a few
just do ignition on/off 4 times
take key out
press the button on old remote does not matter about the chime
do the same press a button new remote again forget the chime
switch ignition on & off

Then press the button on one remote 3 times
central locking should kick in

IQ is wrong sometimes, this is the old type of key as I've said so there's no way the remote can learn when you program the transponder as there not connected in any way the remote pcb is separate

IQ said it could do the Citroen ds5 hands free which it said was a manual procedure which it isn't

The b max could be a extra process after you've done the key learning or something strange

I found that manual you posted as well and that's pretty straight forward to do just doesn't work on this b max

Believe me I had similar issue I did every thing says on the manual just did not work for me, so I decided the other way….. make shore all doors, rear boot and front bonnet is fully closed, put key in drivers door turn key lock and lock with key then remove key and press lock and unlock button on the remote it worked for me.

l want to do my mates b-max l can clone chip with xhorse vvdi but how to programme remote ? l have launch and skp900 but l read skp doosnt work on 2015 ford ? l havnt got key yet tho just working out if l can help

I'm not familiar with skp900 but the transponder is only for emergency start. The remote and proximity function program together.
