Download the driver at the beginning of this thread Plug your bdm into usb, WIN 7 64 will see it but not find driver. Open Device Manager Find the device (probably have yellow triangle on it showing it did not install) Click update driver Browse My Computer LET ME PICK FROM A LIST Under select the device driver you want to install, scroll down manufacturer and find Amt-Cartech Ltd Click HAVE DISK Browse to where you downloaded and unpacked these drivers from this thread, choose fgtibus.inf and click open It will probably warn you its not signed, doesnt matter, keep going. It should install and work. Worked for me and I have been searching for a week for these.

In the device manage the component is listed as "Map3d MPC555 Interface"
I don't see "AMT-Cartech" listed in the device type list.
EDIT: I successfully installed the driver. I now remember what the issue was the last time I tried to get this working. I believe the .exe needed to be re-compiled to work with Windows 64..
This unit works 100% in Windows 7 32.
Thanks for any help.

in device manager it is Map3d MPC555 Interface..
then you continue by highlighting Map3d MPC555 Interface, right click, Click update driver Browse My Computer LET ME PICK FROM A LIST Under select the device driver you want to install, scroll down manufacturer and find Amt-Cartech
It seems I was able to install the driver correctly (I can't know 100% until I've successfully used the program, but there are no faults in the device manager). The program will not open in Windows 7 64. I heard rumors it needed to be re-compiled in order for that to happen. If you have a working .exe (for 64 bit windows) could you share the folder?
Thanks for your help!
I have installed it on two Win7 64bit machine and it does work. Yesterday i did a Volvo with this
Can you post your application folder, or files used for installation?
The driver issue seems to have been resolved.
Application opens fine in win732, but not in win764
Tried compatibility mode, run as admin, etc.
I probably have a different version of the .exe
I'm using Win764 Professional. Possible this is why?

The crt files copy to windows\system32
The OBDII.dll file in install directory
Run dedect_id.exe and copy this into the keygen to make key.lic file.
Key.lic file copy also in install directory
BDM100 1255 Win7.ZIP
Ok, I'll try. This is definitely different than what I currently have. Thanks for the help.
I have a bdm 100 but is not work in win 7 how I can use this in win 7
Do not try to use the "1255" drivers included in some of the posts in the thread, it keeps getting virus flagged by windows.
Use the first zip file from the first post in the thread. Basically that is a version of FTDI USB converter driver with a modified INF file so that the hardware id from the BDM100 is included in it. BDM100 clone is using an FTDI chip (well a fake/clone I bet), so all it needs FTDI usb drivers.
But since the INF is modified, the driver packages signature doesn't match. So need to disable driver signature checking (google it), then device manager/<device with problem>->properties->update driver->Pick a driver from list->I have installation disk->chose the folder->Chose "USB FGTech Driver" as device and done. From now on at device manager it will be listed as "USB FGTech Driver", since they named it that way in the included inf file.
