    Default Net id

    Fitting a box at sons house he is on telewest when it comes to network scan starts off by saying already exist then starts with list when I pick one it scans but doesn't pick up all channels eg movies and sports it does pick up hd channels any help thanks

    Sorry even though he only lives a mile away from me I scanned on my area which was Manchester this picked up some channels I then did his under southport and he got them all not sure if this is the correct one as all the sport channels only r really bad Glitching sorry again

    cheers for update,if possible get correct net id off a local providers box [ things change ] to know you are selecting correct one,others are reporting glitching so it maybe not just your issue.

    just like that.
    To find it on a Tivo box you press Home then 'Help & Settings' then 'Systems Info' then 'Diagnostics' and the top line is your net id.

    V+Box >> Press the home button on your VM remote control >>> Go to settings >>> Then technical stuff >>> Your net id is the first item on the list.

    Thanks for that had read up but the info I got was not for TiVo only got as far as system Info still can't understand y I get already exist for about 8 lines then it starts to find areas mine at home doesn't do this .

    it had stored net ids on box and 8 seems a common number,your box is missing your net id which you have to enter into box manually to scan on.
