This box is in the pain in the arse region I purchased one off of fleebay after some inside the box research I then
twig it's a clone then on DK it's been stated that their are a lot of clones coming out of china in future I'll just
keep my ?67 purchase price in my pocket instead of giving it to some chinese hustlers to fund their Gambling
habits the said box's menu is like a dog's dinner bole wrapped up in a maze like untold amount of hours to go
through it top to bottom to become more familiar with it the Factory Reset what a mare the bloody thing kept
going into a loop meaning the Linux software on said box is crap after about 500 attempts of downloading the
attachments off of zgemma tv website I eventually get said clone linux crap software to work again then I also
notice the two USB ports on said box where trying to read/flash but nothing was happening which was a pain
I later find out from Linux Support website that one has to change this tiny wee small folder in the programme
one is trying to Flash from one's usb stick one has to Rename it from "No Force" to "Force" to get said box to
eventually respond to it being flashed/fixed/updated then recently I notice that the software within said box
under Software Management is not performing properly meaning the so called Add Packages was a waste of
effort/time/& space for example I left the thing/box running 24 hours thinking I'm going to get a updated Picon
for the EPG x,x, wrong I get nothing no change whatsoever to the software another pain the but process then
I find out from above one has to go too "Where"? to update ones ATV 5.1 addon to get said Software to respond
too Online updates via the Box which after going through all the Plug-Ons/Software Updates/Programme Packages
in an A to Z format within said Box it turns out to be a load of crap on offer after checking out all the so-called
"Add On Provider Handles" & what's on offer within said Box Wow yeah that's after one gets it to eventually work
then I'm now find out that Zgemma Star H1 Clone does not accept other Boxes like Zgemma Star S2 software
updates greate so that means ones lumbered with said crap software also the EPG is worse than very basic where
all the TV Channels are all over the place/not in order & also in a very plain background (rubbish) I'll not even
mention about trying to add ones magic onto said box where that also becomes a major process & pain in the
you no where region as well so to summarise what is my personal opinion of said box rubbish & what a waste
money in a nutshell yeah said box is great if ones lifespan is 1,000 years old & has the patience of a "Saint"
to suss it out from top to bottom otherwise I'm afraid old chap it's filed under "Give It A Wide berth" yeah
thanks but no thanks material it's a mare as some people would describe it rating out of ten yeah try minus
ten is what I think laters folks
Question, where are these so called Updates (sky HD skin Version 3.008) please?
Because I don't see said update in the Downloads Section, if so, where?
Under What? As mentioned above I've got a Zgemma Star H1 Clone DVB
Anyones help is much appreciated, cheers.
I didn't realise anybody had bothered to clone a 70 quid box to sell it for 65. Zgemma are made by air digital who are better known for producing clones however the zgemma is not a clone and has been produced directly by air digital. You have constantly rattled on about the menu layout which has nothing to do with the hardware but is all software and i can tell you now the menu is near on identical if you put the same image on a top of the range duo2 dreambox or gigablue quad plus. Your post is confusing to say the least and I'm not quite sure exactly what problem you have. Could you be a bit more definitive with exactly what's causing the issue and we can then try to help you.

The reason why it's a Clone, inside the Box (the Zgemma Star H1) which I purchased the Main Frame/
Mother Board should be separated from the Power Circuit/Socket not all as one which my Box contains
The USB Ports should work when one puts a formated fat 32 usb stick in it with downloads from
Zgemma TV website & links one should not have to go to Linux Support thankfully to find out one has
to change a very small attention to detail folder from "No Force" to "Force" to get said box to respond
to important & useful downloads
If said box has a "Factory Default Option" within it, then it should work, like go back to its factory default
settings not go into a Constant Loop that does not work with one having to Re-Flash it again & changing
No-force to Force to get said Box to Respond is it really worth all this Hassle
& If it states in the Programmes Package that it adds Updates via said Box but does not after making out
it does then one finds out oh there is an updated ATV 5.1 for said Box (Where?) & this will fix said Box
"Uploads Via Box Issues" then that would be really handy to know because as mentioned my said Clone
Box does not Upload by itself as it's suppose to do, this is why I'm not a happy bunny with this box which
is definitive enough it's not confusing its as simple as pie as regards to the experience I've personally
had with this box (DVB) Zgemma Star H1 (Clone) DVB
