Hi,

i have FVDI II with Porsche package. Has anybody else ever got the Abrites Diagnostic software to run on a 986 or 996?

Some of the options (lower part of screen - ley learning, special functions, broadcast) works. But no diagnostic tools. Abrites crashes every time i try to call a control unit (dme, alarm system, abs etc.)

I run it on Win XP and a DELL D630 – so native.

Any tips for that or help hw i can get it running completely? I've seen videos with that software running. So i just wonder what i'm doing wrong. Tested a lot of the config options, but still doesn't work.

I've asked STIC 2 times for help. No response at all.

At the moment this seems to be a very expensive piece of crap to me (i'm not a pro in this field).

i need to buy fvdi 2018 ... readed to much and don't clearly understand what differences between (fvdi)s only (2018 blue version) and sellers and sites and activation problems and locked devices ... where to buy ? from stic or fvdiobd ... or even not buy 2018 version ? any body here tried it please advice ...

specially i want vag functions like cluster and ecu change ... 2014 version cover this well or not ? need 3rd 4th immo only ... where to buy it as it's also to much sellers ... recommend a seller

Using fvdi2018 with succes over golf mk5, Passat b6 with edc16

Succes for mk6 vdo clocks to put in service mode

Mine bought from fvdiobd 2014 and 2018 (all came from STIC)

Just use 2018 to do AKL Polo 2010.

Megane 2 with 3 button card without problem, but mine failed Magane III 4 buttons (2014 2018).

so fvdi 2014 from stic is good and 2018 not added to much that worth every 30 days activation and risk ... and fvdi 2014 is more reliable and don't need activation and more stable ? am i correct ? that prove kocta opinion

I bough FVDI 2014 from fvdiobd on 2015 year, it's a clone. And yes, this one no need activation.

But from some months ago, they sell all come from STIC. DOn't know if 2014 need activation, but 2108 need for sure.

I have FVDI 2018, and im wondering if its worth buying the £1000 full FVDI 2 from flyobd,, i wonder what is better about it? i guess it still kills PSA on pin read etc.

FVDI II, directly bought from STIC.

Internet connection is OK and works fine.

I don't get any connection to server. That doesn't seem to be normal to me, when the computer ist connected to the internet.

Computer is a Dell D630, 2 Ghz, 3GB Ram.

When i click on IMMO Software and than TAG i get a message that says "FLY dongle driver not installed".

What does that mean? Any hints how to get this driver installed. Thanks.

Hi guys I need help with fvdi 2018 I think she died, I plug it in the USB and the green LED does not light up the computer does not recognize anything, I icter changing cables but it does not work. can someone help
