I have this interface for a few months now. It worked well with the same laptop, same WinXP until yesterday.

From today I have Error 5. If I reinstall the SW at first run it starts the requested program but after that I have "Interface not found". If I try again than Error 5 again. Any ideas?

Thank you very much but I was aware for a long time about those needed dll's for running FVDI. It wasn't any dll problem, after the 10th reinstall of the SW, my FVDI interface started to work again...

Spoke to Zhumerchant this morning, softdog indeed will make big improvement, but will be released end of this month only

can you give any more info please, like how it will make big improvement?

please Gwee post the result and the info after that - i see a lot of updates witch come with it VAG-v23 , bmw-v20 and more ...
And can you ask the are we ned to buy new avdi device or will work with old once .

Fly say that the softdog is working with all there fvdi`s
they already take orders... but they are not ready with development... and say to coustomers that they are out of stock of softdogs

I watch this video of presentation , but i realy don't understand of that what exactly bug are fixed and what is fixed ,exept this soft dog with is for update and ofline codding maybe . But nothing more of that what we can expect of that for what we will pay 100 dolars only for this soft dog but what will be changed , what they prove on avdi this is intereating , litlle more info will not be bad.

first fly say that they only send me a softdog... now they say that i have to send my interface back to them.... again... this interface was at fly 2 times before... last time 3 weeks ago... :-(

This time I will wait for feedback. 100$ is not much, but I remember when FLY boss said - FLY update will be for free. .
SOFTDOG is a part of update I think it is , why is not free of charge ?

I asked MARY regarding the softdog and she doesn't reply. She just replies with the same email which is already posted above.
I need to know the following info.
If we buy the softdog then would we have to do a firmware update as well?
What about those guys that have the fully unlocked version? I mean the ones that were not bought unlocked but were unlocked by somebody else...
Would they be able to use the new software with the softdog or will it revert their units back to the original software pack which they bought?

I have never been able to clone a 4D chip using the online function. Can anybody put some info as to when is the online function and dongle needed on the BMW pack because that is what I bought and use on plenty cars and am quite happy with the functions except for few vehicles which it didn't work on.

Just a Guess here mate but are you on drugs ..... ? ....... you want the Fly team to update/not **** ... use their Dongle (which is not out yet ) on the units that were unlocked by a third party ? ... sure mate ... but I suggest you do cut down on the green .. its making you look like a moron ..
