    And it doesnt have all the button batteries inside like 2015 2018 and 2019 versions which when they die leaves you stuck

    2014 seems to be highly praised, do the special functions still work with this?
    Looking to use for BMW Cas3 key programming.

    hello it is possible to reset "ELV conter error" fault in BMW CAS3 module with FVDI2014 ?
    Reset after ELV repair , or is the same function to SYNC CAS/ ELV ?

    hello guys, i need some advise/tips on some issues i'm having to read a Magneti Marelli BSI and ECU from a Fiat car.
    This is a 2005 Fiat Palio Adventure, Brazilian model sold in mexico.
    The BSI is a Magneti Marelli, Code 46846575 (MC9S12DG256B 1K79X), and the ECU is a IAW 4AFB (i think its 4AFB-TM1 - cant read very good last digit).
    I'm trying to read these units with FVDI 2018, but i'm not able to do it.
    In the ECU, FVDI can make connection but if i try to read Eeprom / Config, after a few seconds i get "Operation Time Out".
    With the BSI, it doesn't even establish connection.
    When i try to connect with OBDLink SX + MultiECUscan, i have no problem. i can connect with both units even on the bench.
    but i wanted to try and program keys with FVDI because i tried with MultiECUscan, keys are programmed, but i'm getting a message inside the program that "Universal Code" = Not Received.
    and since the car doesn't spark, we are assuming its because of the Key.
    I prepared the transponder with the CryptoKey that i got from UPA, but for some reason after programming the keys, i don't see the "Locked" message in the transponder after programming.
    I had another IAW 4AFB.TM ecu that i cloned with Ktag from the other ECU, and now (with FVDI2018) i cant read the Eeprom on both ECUs...

    Also another question: the only backup i have from the 2nd ECU for the Flash, was done by FVDI and i have a file with 304kb. but the file from Ktag has only 256kb.
    is there any reason for the file from FVDI to be bigger than the Ktag file?
    I tried to use FVDI to clone the ECUs, in the car, but then i had an error and the operation didn't completed properly. so i had to use Ktag.

    Is my unit faulty? because i see that these 2 units appear in the menu, but they can read...
    Does anyone here have any similar problem that can help?

    Upload photo of your fvdi board you need resolder some components
    Have you read some eprom with your fvdi ??

    This is the board of my FVDI unit. (pretty sure its a clone from a clone)...

    In some units, yes i could read some eeprom.
    When i bought the 2nd ECU to test, before i made changes to the flash, my FVDI could read the eeprom without problem...
    but with this BSI, i´m not able to connect....
    tomorrow i will have another Magneti Marelli BSI to test. (Same car model, different part number).

    But if you find any "details" on my PCB that can be fixed / reworked, i will appreciate...

    Hello guys...

    Can anyone help me out with my FVDI unit?
    I tried to read 3 Fiat BSI units and my FVDI 2018 cant connect to any of them...
    2 of these units are Magneti Marelli and the other one is a Delphi unit.
    I saw that some people reported that they can read/program keys, but i´m not able to establish connection to any of these units...
    Also, the ECU for the Magneti Marelli BSI, i can connect in K-Line but when i try to read Epprom / Config i get "TimedOut Error".
    With the ECU for the Delphi BSI, i can read Epprom / Config, i can read flash, but i cant write flash.
    Both ECUs are IAW 4AFB.TM (Mexican cars).

    Do i need to do any rework on my FVDI 2018?

    Try to read bsi with ignition off.

    Hello guys,

    I have one SVCI 2014 which not working on LS CAN Bus. I bought newer SVCI 2019 and still not work on LS CAN BUS.
    Weird, yes ?
    I see a few posts on other members for not working on this Single Wire CAN Bus.
    I checked and double checked the IC's for SW Can Bus and mosfet switches. All good. It is a software problem I suppose ?!? or hardware bad project ?
    It is someone which working for example on Instrument Cluster at Astra-H/ Zafira-B, Corsa-D, Insignia, Vectra-C ??? which use LS Can Bus for diagnostic. Also please tell us the version of SVCI and Serial number. ...Repeat : if works
