yes the FVDI 2018 con not read the volvo you only can change the odometer !
me was told i ll have to wait for a new firmware

Just an update to all in the future, i succeeded doing this with FVDI2018. Renewed key with kd-x2, modified antenna on programmer and bobs your uncle, coded the key without even taking the pcb out of the key shell. However, the China key was unable to be programmed (failed at 98%, even with antenna right on the chip) only an original that i renewed worked.

I tried with FVDI 2015, special function "Key learning", wizard mode, on Passat B6. It autodetected the pin, but I couldn't program a new key. When it is in adaptation process the immo symbol dissapear, recognize the key, but after the adaptation is finished the new key isn't recognised. Did I forget something ? Shall I try standard mode ?
Also, at first try, it delete also the original key, and after remake the entire procedure, the original key was learned again. It Could be a problem with the new key ?
