Have you had to have this done? Any idea on timeframe and cost to repair? It might be easier just to buy a new one....

its only depend of how hungry are the seller, who sold to you the vvdimb, in fact only seller can send unit back to factory for repair or fix in warranty or after warranty

when unit still in original condition without any stupid steps or attempts to fix of stupid customers, then i charge customer only shipping cost and factory did it mostly for free

or charge very less....

timeframe are about shipping time from cust to me, i forward it instant to factory, shipping time back from factory to me and at end shipping to customers hands.

In short - it can take from few weeks to 2 months depending on the chosen carriers. And because of the current situation the regular postal services are blocked so there is only expensive express couriers available as option. On the good side - they would need less time to deliver in both directions ...in normal conditions.

It shouldn't cost anything but better to discuss with Xhorse support on skype first.

Thanks for the reply’s guys, I have all VVDI’s tools and found them to be quite good to deal with, but in this case they are very slow to assist in even returning emails.
I purchased them from Vvdishop.com. I think this is direct from the manufacturer? There are so many resellers with very similar names it’s hard to know.....

Hello to All

My vvdi mb just died today, I was doing spare key on mercedec c class w204 2013, all went ok as always but when i upload file to get the password light on the vvdi mb just gone and laptop stopped recognizing the device I thought is the usb cable but no, cable, laptop all ok just vvdi gone ;( no light when you plug to the laptop and no light if you plug to obd2 ;(
Is anyone had the same problem before? Can support help how to fix the problem? or replace the unit ?

Did my first merc key with xhorse mb on a w211 lost key using xhorse BE key
car starter up fine but cannot get remote to work? . Tryed hold unlock and pressing lock 5 time to sinq but no luck

Have you got a battery in the key?
Change frequency on the remote...

yes key has battery and transmitting signal
was set to 315 but changed it via vvdi mb software to 433 . now sending a 433 signal but not working . key starts car fine.
not sure what i am doing wrong

Think this car is keyless go car as has switch on gear stick and button on drivers door.
could this be keyless go with a ignition switch starter type key too?
