If you try it by obd / colecting data you need one token...
But if you use orig xhorse be key, you can get one token from xhorse...

For example...
If you read EIS by programer (if it's possible...) and get Eeprom...
You can make new key by Eeprom without token...

First time User : Special key and vin missing when I read on bench, w204 renew gearbox
It won’t get special key when I click GET
It says wrong special key and I can’t renew it,
I manually typed in VIn numbering that field so far but for special key? Where can I get it?

Can anyone help on what’s next steps?

Hi,

This is because your unit is already renewed.

When you see Status:

Personalized = No
Activated = No

This means that the control unit is already renewed.

Now your control unit is ready to be adapted to another car

I have checked your Special Key Hash on 4 different Databases and also 3 different tools ( Just to be sure ... ) But none of them have this Special Key.

Ok thanks.
Transmission is already mounted on this w204 and plugged in

Hooked up Vvdi mb to OBDII port , turn ign On position , read gearbox and clicked on
Personalized , read gear box again But it did not fill all information on keys. It shows “0”
Doesn’t change from personalized to yes
Shifting is not working

this is from a W204 els.
i also have try it with 2 different tools but no joy.

Is there a way to go back before renew unit and get the special key?

Or

How do I finish this renew With what I have done ?

its totally looks like you are not have any knowlege about this process, better to stop that immediately...

and forward it asap to someone who know something more about that...

Great advice!!! Him looking for help how to...and you told him that leave and proceed forward???!! Buy how to learn?!?! Why we buy hardware and make special topics for specific hardware?!!?? Where you finish school to use vbdi mb tool??!?? If you can help then help or is this funny for you?!? I just buy few days ago vvdi mb tool,and if people like you on my question answer proceed to someone else who know what to do....i don't know what to say I am very sad!!! Thx!!
