E60 Euro3 530D EGR

Hi,

Would somebody please help me taking the EGR off. The car was remapped by a Quantum dealer a couple of years ago. I always thought that the the EGR was disabled as part of the job but now I have physically blocked it I am getting an EGR error. Car runs fine just getting the dreaded orange light for fault P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected. Cleared the fault with INPA but it just keeps coming back. I have attached a file I read with MPPS. Is it possible that I could have a file that I just write back that will take care of the problem. I do not really understand the checksum procedures. Thanks in advance.
