    Default Eeprom reader

    Hi,
    I use x-prog m at the moment.
It's been doing the job so far.

Lately I've had a few Ducato's, relays and boxers to do.

They all use the smaller 8 leg chips.

Not sure why but my xprog isn't reading them even tho it should.

Can anyone suggest a cheap reader?
Was looking at orange 5 but think it's a lot to pay just for reading a certain type of chip.
    Does upa read them?
Any suggestions on how to get x-prog to read them?

    Thanks in advance

the tssop version of those eeproms is just a package difference, xprog must read them as long as you connect them properly.
Working on something to release next month for free for all dk users :>

I would have thought x-prog should read them too.
Has anyone else tried with xprog?
If so what version have you got?

    Thanks

You need repair 90% hardware of carprog and connector. After that, flashing Firmware to make full function.
