i'd stick with what you got, with only 1 hd channel out & a possibility boxes may go down next year (only rumours tho) may not be worth spending your money m8

there is a few more HD channels added now to the vermin network so it might be worth getting a HD box.

rumours of N3 being implemented next year well that will have to wait and see and as far as I have heard is that is that certain HD channels in ireland are broadcasted in N3.

In london vermin are planning to switch to IPTV apprently and according to Wiki.

    regards

Don't know why anyone would, currently, invest in a HD box if they had a working normal box.
The HD channels available at the moment are absolute crap, unless you're a big History Channel or National Geographic watcher.

they can give you a better picture over a normal box on an ordinary channel and hd on a hd channel, better for the big screen.

Upscaling an SD broadcast through a HD capable box is a big bonus especially on 36"+ screens, also more HD channels are creeping into the lineup. CH4HD MTVHD and the new ESPN English premiership channel (old Setanta) showing 48 prem matches this season has an HD version, as well as all the others mentioned in previous posts.

At this moment i am considering buying the HD box but want to wait a little while to see if the Favs / channel order glitch can be fixed through firmware updates before i committ.

As this was a Nag3 thread, you have to ask yourself "if i bought the HD box @?180.00 would that be offset by what i would save in subscriptions (inc HD) if there are only 12 months left?"

IMHO yes ....well worth it if your TV is a major passtime (as mine is).
