Hay I am a newbie and computer illiterate! Um but looking at getting a Diagun from China - What are the pit falls?
I have a supplier that claims they can provide me the Software for the cars that I wanted - Took them a few days to get back to me etc.
They want me to pay up front and not use ESCROW or any buyers protection etc.
I do not under stand how they can get the software or updates etc? How do I get the updates if I buy a unit? I see many sell one time updates etc but none of it makes sense to me.
What should I do? Maybe just not buy one? Or anyone know a good trader in China?
I am in New Zealand and we need a very wide coverage of car makes etc and I have a list of 45 plus some others just for fun like Thailand Isuzu and Indonesia stuff - are those just a wast of time?
Any good advise would be great! Or if i cant or dont get what I want anypne willing to fix the issue for me for a fair fee? I was qouted about USD$940 Including DHL seems and Ok price.
the lowest I have seen is around USD$700 but I dont think you can choose what you get or maybe even worse.

First of all no one can tell you from where you can buy.
It is a thread here where you can see which are the companies you can trust or you can't. But in the end it is your decision.
So first of all just on ebay you can use ESCROW and you negociate with a company directly. They ask for the money first.
Yes some of them can give all sw you need and the updating by email.
But first of all try on Launch Australia ( official dealer for your region )

Got a price from Launch NZ - official dealer and um yer 4 times the price!
I do have a list that they claim (Traders in China) to be able to cover but how can I check ask what I am gettting? Versions? by there numbers etc?

hi, i brought original EURO version of X-431 Diagun from official Poland resseler, i wants to know, is there any way to *free* update before i activate via official web page or what can i do after my free subscription ends up?
If yes, is there any way to harm device with unofficial updates?
I have 1 year free updates, till now not activated.


I am interested in mainly in Opel, VW, SKODA.

I don't know why you need other kind of updates if you have an original one.
Activate your account and update for fre one year.
After that you can try other kind of update if you don't like to buy updates for another year.

Has anyone used a LAUNCH X-431 Diagun as i am thinking of investing in one it seems to have all functions of x431 but cheaper faster and smaller. Any info greatly appreciated

What version do you have?
There's 3 version
Europe full, Asia full and Europe+Asia full.
All these include American cars.
Dacia it isn't covered on Diagun but it can be, depends of your seller.

Genuine one you can buy it just from authorized dealer:
For Europe you can buy a genuine just from Launch Europe or from his reseller from your country.
I live in Romania and a genuine Diagun cost 2874 ? + VAT (24%) and an year update cost 500?
I think you buy an original from China you could be blocked because there are a lot of clones with your serial.
Think about that
For 300$ less I will buy a clone or a genuine one from my zone authorized dealer if you have a garage. Depends of you.

i think is full because i have 55 mark's of cars, i have now alfaromeo, but still need Jaguar files for my diagun.

I am wanting Ford Australia and maybe newer updates for now or the future - Any advise how it all works?
