Question Isuzu Dmax 2.5 2007 4JK1. need EGR OFF, what TOOL/SOFTWARE to use via BDM.

    Hello to all,

    I have a Isuzu Dmax 2.5 (not 3.0), 136hp, 2007, engine 4JK1, with ECU Delphi 8980173488 28080142.
Bad EGR! Need help on selecting the hardware & software to fix/remove it, so i'm here for help!
Was thinking on using KTAG clone for BDM job.
Could anyone help me with this issue???

    Thank you all.

    Hello,

    Found 2 KTAG's (clone), one V2.11 & V 2.13.
Read somewhere that V 2.11 is better then V 2.13, can anybody confirm this???

    Thanks.

What hardware/software do you recomend to delete EGR on this Isuzu 2,5 delphi ECU?? Can be done only via BDM, from what i've heard...
    Thanks.

    Hello again,

just to let you know that Ktag V 2.10 (clone) works great via BDM on Delphi ECU (Isuzu dmax 2,5 2007).

    Regards.

    Hello you all!

Just wrote the new map on my Isuzu dmax 2,5 2007, delphy ECU (via bdm, ktag v2.10 clone), but i still get an error code PO406 EGR sensor high voltage.
Had to install a 50k ohm resistor on the egr sensor to simulate a steady egr position, since the one on the egr is bad. The only problem is that i have a permanent error code and still did not find a solution for this issue.
Does anyone have a idea how to fix this situation???
    Best Regards.

    Hello,
    KTAG V2.10 clone, via BDM.
    Cable 144300T 100
    Adaptor P-D94V-0
Do not forget to connect the negative to the ECU lower terminal...
    It works great!
Someone changed the ECU file for me, and i wrote it back to the ECU, deactivating the EGR, and adding 25 hp (great change). Installed a blanking plate on EGR.
Did not want more then 25 hp, want the engine to less a few more years with no side problems...
The only issue that i can not fix is that my egr sensor is bad, and i had to install inline a 50k ohm resistor to simulate asteady egr position, but the ecu still has a permanent error code of high egr sensor voltage. I'm still waiting for a potentiometer to play with it, and try to find the ideal resistance (ohms) and try to clear this code.
This is the only issue that i have so far, and still no luck fixing it.
    Regards.
