Swirl flap off 2.0tdi edc17

Hallo
I need turn off swirl flap in Passat 2.0tdi 2010 EDC17. If will be ok if I disconnect plug and erase DTC? or is maybe another solution? What i have to do after turn off in ECU? Take off flaps from manifold, open or close it?
I will be so grateful for any help.

Flaps Open, disconect and can remove dtc. Not best solution but will be work.
