FVDI kills PSA BSI units if pin reading is attempted , never try and read a johnson controls unit with it , buy codes instead . ive not got fvdi as have avdi which is good on these , the last one i saw on another forum ended up having to go to dealer , but im sure someone here will be able to help repair.

Flash is dead for 100% if you tried to read with fvdi, you can repair it buy write flash from second hand bsi with same hw and sw.

We have backup copy in AVDI folder of flash. How to check if flash dead?
BSI reply to diagnistic commands via FVDI, give its number and many other info.

Frriend, if you want to repair the bsi you need to reflash the bsi , leave the eeprom for now its not your problem.
