Whats the best way to open these Opel/vauxhall ecu's? they have a white plastic base that looks to be bonded or molded to the unit?

The picture is from a MAC inside and is from SMOK JTAG Programmer!I read and write 3-4 ECUs only with MAC processors.if you find this ECUs type with XC infineon is a good news!Smok don't have a XC connection for this ECU type.

Yes, that is okay. But in Opel exist airbag modules with MAC and with Infineon.
Module 13582437 Astra J is module with Infineon.
    Modules 13505823 AB, 13574896 AF, 13575683,13576859 AB, 13577275 are with MAC7242.
And member mcmcmc is ask pinout for module 13582437.
    Modules: 13589374 AB, 13589405 AV, 13589413 MB, 13590216 DK,13582437 are with Infineon.
