Default what hardware i need, newbie question:)

hi everybody, i'have a few question for you, i want to have the tool i need to reflash my tdi ecu, in fact it's to make run my swap engine, a bhw coming from a passat b5.5 this engine will be the heart of my b7 audi a4 and i want to do all coding and reflash by myself, including immo off, the principal reason is that there is no tuner where i live, the closest tuner live at 4 hours of driving. if you can tell me what programmer could be a good option for a beginner and a few how to .....
any help/advice will be greatly appreciate.
thanks you to tame some time to show me the way!!!

reflash and coding with immo off ? u know u will most likely need more than one tool i have been doing ecu swaps and immo off now for about 6 years and still i will not touch a map for tuning maybe dpf off or egr off but that is it , sorry not being rude but if u ask about what tool to use then i would rather take the 4 hours drive and save u a lot of $$$$$$ and fustration
but have a look on the forum , flashers for ecu- k-tag kess galleto mps , programmers to read eeprom and/or flash to help with immo off - xprog orange5 wellon tl866a ......... then there is the software that go with it
dude take a step back and give this job to the pro's i would because tuning is a lot of learning but u can give it a go get winols(cracked) and/or swifttech a lot of $$$
just search the forum for winols u will see a lot of the dudes is asking about how to use winols it is not easy
    GOOD LUCK !!!

i agree with u to begin at the beginning , first your own car like i did with my audi a4 i managed to get it to say DEF on the dash in 2 hours after i got it
and then i managed to get it to run very poor and then none at all , and wow i thought i was cool armed with "the best" china crap tools lucky it was my own car and i did not know about MAKING BACKUPS of eeproms and not to touch the cluster with wrong tools lucky this is your own car and here u have a opertunity to learn and i think u will for sure get good advise here on DK so ask before u stuff it up or is unsure and do some homework see the tools that i have mentioned the pros and cons of it and the how tows u will be ok , some swaeting blood and some tears but the joy of solving it in the end is a nice reward
always give but never give up !!!!
