    Default Changing software VAG EDC16U34

    Hi!

I need to update the firmware of the ECU to a more powerful FACTORY version (not chip). As I understand I need to flash a full dump of a powerful version by BDM100. But what to do with the EEPROM, do not touch at all or flash too? In which case, immobilizer allow running?
The type of ecu is the same for both firmwares.
    Thank you for answers
