I think cdi have synchro with coil
Hi guys, I am very new to this forum.
Really need your input for this.
Story goes like this...
Kawasaki ZX6 2006 (Euro Specs with Immo) came to me, all-keys-lost.
- Made the metal key - no problem
- Took out CDI, Denso 21175-0109
- Removed 93C66 EEPROM, couldn't read out anything from it
- Got a ZX6 dump file (of the same CDI) from this forum, did 2 transponders (4D62) using Tango. - no problem
- Used a new 93C66, wrote back the data into it
- Resolder new 93C66 onto PCB, tried both transponders - (DOESN'T WORK, IMMO LIGHT STILL FLASHING)
- Wrote same file into the OLD 93C66 IC, tried both transponders again - (DOESN'T WORK)
- Used virginised Denso file from weboctopus.nl, wrote into both ICs, tried both transponders again - (DOESN'T WORK)
- Bought an IDENTICAL CDI from overseas with Red Key, cloned the chip and also tried holding the original transponder near the metal key, tried it - (DOESN'T WORK), and I waited painstaking for 3 weeks for it to arrive (((
Will some kind soul out there in this forum help me with some input?
I am at my wits end, really.
Thank you my friends.

Thanks, Milkatrek.
But how do I do that, synchronisation?
Do you have any idea?
On your pcb board where the 93c66a or b check pin 5&7 are they tied? If they are tied your data should have read and written in 8 bit mode. If there Not tied they read and write in 16bit mode. So even if you have good dumps but written in the wrong mode that could be your problem.

But I bought a brand new cdi.
Exact same part number. Why can't it work. I've also checked the antenna. It's working as well.
Correction, I bought an old but working cdi with the red key.
Thanks ray ray
But I bought and tried another identical cdi with the red key, still not working. What could be the possible reason?
sorted....
