For VAG you have vcds it has loging recorder. Autocom is more versatile as it covers many models and has Airplane mode for recording but it lacks many data info for BMW e.g. for which you can use Testo

Hey all,
I was wondering what sort of hardware / software you are all using when checking the changes you have made when chip tuning.
Normally with any decent aftermarket ECU there is a log function and datalog viewing software.
I have started to poke my head around this chiptuning and i havent seen much if any mention of dataloging.
How are you reading and recording the commanded values and comparing to the changes you believe you have made when flashing in a new tune?
Hopefully someone can fill in the blanks

Multiecuscan for Fiat group
Not professional tools, but quite cheap and work quite well with Fords: Forscan and Focom. Very good for an enthusiast wanting to tinker with his/hers Ford (Forscan also works with Mazda, Lincoln, Mercury).
