    Hello,
    I have the following problem:
I was mounted on a SKODA OCTAVIA 2 1.9 tdi EU (manufactured 18.12.2006) a cluster of OCTAVIA 2 as of 14.03.2005 UK. The original cluster was minidot (EU) and the one I put is maxidot (UK).
The big problem I have is that I can encode ABS ESP - I always get this error - 01044 incorrectly coded module control.
I tried to compute different codes but I can not get rid of this error.
Has anyone else hurt the problem?
Is the problem due to the downgrade of the cluster?

    OCTAVIA 2 1.9 TDI
    Manual transmision
    With ESP Button
    Without TPMS
    VIN TMBCS61Z572038670
    ABS - 1K0907379AC

    1) So which cluster is now mounted on the car? The original one or replacement? Please use VCDS to grab the VIN which is shown in cluster (17 address)
    2) Do you happen to have the original coding of the ABS before starting to mess with clusters?

Thanks friend, this code was successfully accepted. But I have this problem now, I have the ABS light on and the dtc is 01309 "power steering control module(j500) - No signal / No communication" But this car hasn't electronic power steering module, it has a mechanic hydraulic pump with belt and just have the Steering position system. Can you please help me. Thanks a lot

Thanks to DigitalKaos and especially hid3 and 16D for your help. The coding is correct. I just have to do the ABS system function test to erase the code 01486. I really appreciate your valuable help. I will post again when the ABS light goes out.

PD. Done, all the lights goes out. Once again thanks a lot.
