As far as I know, mileage is in ECU and will come back even if you manage to change the dash.
Don't know what tool can do them.

Ok i try to open the ecu today. It's a mechanic school truck... Good for test!

It's a m?dium duty truck all have km in ecu? Exemple freight m2 with 6.7 cummins is in ecu?

No. Not have Time in the last day... Access is not good try to remove the next week
