    Default Nforce driver puzzle

    Hi,
Bought a used laptop of fleabay with no opperating sys.
Installed win xp, scooted arround found missing drivers and all runs well.

At this point I decided to have a second hard drive for a backup.
Started installing win xp again but on this install I get a yellow exclamation mark agains the nvidia network.

The hard drive that works calls it nforce 10/100/1000 BBPS ETHERNET.
The install that doesn't sees it as a different nvid.

How do I fore it to see it as nforce 10/100/1000 BBPS ETHERNET

    Thanks

ps I am not too cleaver on computors

Exclamation mark tells you something not working or missing drivers search nvidia drivers xp and download from them whether it's 32 bit or 64 bit you have installed.Don't know what laptop you have but what is it you want to back up? folders? documents, movies? Just copy folders every now and again to second drive without an operating system to back stuff up.It sounds like you are trying to have two separate operating systems for your computer for a back up? If you copy docs, movies folders etc on to second drive if anything happens to computer redo install of xp or any other operating system and copy folders back from {Back-up} second drive. hth

Got frustrated with it and cloned the working drive with Easeus. This would not boot. Booted with xp cd and let it repair.
    All ok now.
    Thanks

Tha latest min. standard for Backup is NAS (Networks Attached Storage) Drive...
USB were standard for a while and have still great usage in other scanarios.
External nVME (or .M2) is pretty decent for traveling with lots of data.
The question is what is Your passion for Backup Solution!?
Music is something that is stored on Phones usually.
Photos are best practically viewed on Laptops.
Videos are stored on the Cloud or privately.
