Default BMW E60 530D problems with DPF

    Hello Everybody!

I have few month 2004 BMW E60 530D, and noticed black smoke some times and high fuel consumptions ...so i have done diagnostic and found some faults in DDE:

4166 - DPF flow resistance too low
    4CF3 - Exhaust Backpressure Sensor
(I have tryed to clean errors but they came back, but no check engine light at all)
yesterday I cheked with GT1 and found that DDE reguest regeneration...

so I thinked that DPF is cloged so I decide to clean it manualy, today am dismounted end from DPF and found that DPF is REMOVED??!

I readed with xprog flash, so someone can check what is wrog here...

    P.S. Sorry for bad english...

So use your GT1, make update of the powertrain modules with it... Read the engine ECU again and give us the file.
Then you will have a ori file, with a GOOD DPF off.
    Regards!

Lol, preferring ecusafe over bobo's hand made file is the wrong choice. But... On you own.

But, why you can't edit file directly, why GT1 update is necessary? to restore factory settings?

Am understand, but if ecu is mapped for more power and if I write with GT1 or with WinKFP original dump, I will loose all stuff??? Or maybe bobolin4o will restore it

Also I have noticed with INPA that DDE Software was touched in 2015-03...

Sorry! maybe am I Dummy for that, but need some clarity...

Mmmm, i don't offer, that i'll do an DPF off...
I only said - flash ori file with WinKFP (for example) to have ECU with fresh and untouched soft (without some dumb tuning and wrong DPF of file in it) and post this new file here.
Then someone here will make a good DPF off file and you will be happy.
And one more thing... believe me, this car, with this engine... have enough power, without messing with "chips"...
    Regards!
