    there is only one scope to consider if your are serious
    thats pico scope you will never understand how good it is until you use it have alook at autonerds site a 4 channel scope may look expensive but the more you use
    the more invaluble it becomes the small hand held scopes
    donot show enough detail you are saying you want to use it for a quick check there is no such thing

    VELLEMAN HPS 40 MHZ

    This is 5 Mv / per step !!!!!
    This is 0,1 Mv sensivity !!!!!


    Is good ?

    I used different types of oscilloscope and I think that to have no problems you have to use a scope built for automotive and not affected by disorders of the magnetic fields of ignition. I use the motortester FSA 720 from Bosch connected to a PC. The multitude of accessories and software makes a complete and unique tool, one note is not portable
