That means your x431 needs to update.Do your have an official series mumber.If you have it you can log in LAUNCHTECH China website(Official web) to download the newest software.
If your tool doesn't come via an official route that maybe a little difficult to update it.

Hi all. I have a x431 tool and am wondering if update files for another tool can have the serial number changed to my tools serial number so that it works on my tool.

Basically, NO . You would have to change the serial number on your machine to match that of the other machine.
There are guys out there selling cracked software and they can produce software for your x431 if you give them the serial number. The going rate is about $250 USD for a once off software batch containing all makes.
The job of changing a serial number on an x431 requires desoldering, programming of the chip and resoldering. You have to have the programming machine and considerable know how, plus be a very compotent solderer. Make a mess of it and your up sh*t creek with no paddles in sight.

The bad NEW is , When the scanner has to comunicate with the Vehicle Show. No communication/ Check ignition ON/ Check connection.
And I try to Restore with my old files and I have the same message. Is mean That maybe I damaged my Launch.

Strange, i know lots of people using this software and nobody else has reported that problem. Is your machine a GX3 by any chance ? I had that same message happening with two GX3 machines, but its not a problem with the software. My money is on a smartbox related fault.

I want to try doing whit the software Update tool.
But I don't have . my old PC when damaged And de update tool was in the old PC.
This time I just make a copy of the GAG and DATA file.
If some one have the Software installation tool for X431 I will apreciate. Thank you.

Do not panic!! Tell us exactly how you installed cracked software on your X431, and how you have tried restoring your CF.

Ok.. I did a better look of wat I did.
I did a test on all my files I found 5 corrupt.
I did a Back-up of my old files .
I clear all from the Original CF card.
I move the old files at the CF card.
I did scan for corrupt files and all pass the scan.
I tried the The CF card in my Launch. and work good.
I test 3 diferent Vehicles....

Ok. At this point I'm With the scanner working with my Original software. Old version.

I have download the Cracked software Again On a diferent PC.
I noticed this time , The files are more than mine old files.
More than the first download.

Here is the PROBLEM.
The files Are about 165 MB.
And my Original CF card is just 128 MB.

I have a New CF card 512 MB.
I have tried but the scanner just show the initial screen.
With the Menu.
But GAG Scan Option not work.

Any Idea. Thank you.

You are obviously doing something wrong. When you unzip the files you have downloaded from rapidshare, you should see two folders. Data and GAG. You need to put both folders onto your new CF card.

Hi.. Now the problem is...
My CF card is only 128 MB. And the cracked software
Take 155 MB.
Is inposible to move the files to my Original CF card.
And I have tried on the new one. 512 MB
But when I turn on the Scanner It stop when I select
Scan from the main Menu.
I don't know Why.
