Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Mitsubishi Carisma - The owner broke the plastic piece of the key and didn't know that the immobilizer transponder is inside of it, and threw it away.

I think I might be able to get a key for the car but I'm not 100% sure that I'll be able to program the key.

The manual states that I need to put the new key in the ignition, turn the ignition on for 25 minutes, delete all of the fault codes and start the programming process. Is this information correct?

Will it actually be as easy as it states or will there be any other difficulties with the process. And will I be able to get it done with 2021 Delphi diagnostic tool?
