Sid 807 evo swap ecu

Hi all, have an 2012 mondeo 1.6 diesel. Original ecu is damaged and i got an doner ecu but never exchange sid before, any help will be much apriciatted,if i read ecu and transfer to doner will that start my car? Do i need to do new key after?. Thanks in advance.

there is eeprom chip in sid807. it?s under capacitors. need to pull circuit board off the aluminium case.

First you have to read and save eep and int flash files from original ecu with Ktag/Trasdata or other similar tool !
Read eep/mcu and save from second and than try to write original eep and mcu,if there not are OTP area than car should start !

Update_ i try to read ori ecu but is no connection with ktag. With doner ecu is ok . Any other way to do this ecu? Or tool?? Thanks

The only one way are with Ford IDS,if donor ecu are in good condition just reset ecu with IDS and recode again !

Hi, bit of an old topic but I have similar issue with dead Volvo V50 SID 807 EVO ecu and would like to what component you were talking about moving in this post? Thumbnail/picture not active anymore?

Would appreciate any help in finding out what needs to be moved to the new donor ECU.
