hello, i have a locked ecu, its a edc17cp02, i made backup in boot mode, i would like to use another second hand ecu ever edc17cp02, if i write the eprom of old ecu to used one car will start?
eprom have otp area too?

No will not start , in eeprom checksums calculation is involved OTP area data . And you cant rewrite OTP .

any solution? i see someone offer service to immo off on edc17 file, how it work if cannot rewrite otp area in eprom?

Most immo off solutions for edc17 is flash patch , i suppose its BMW ecu , solution is rewrite ISN and recalculate eeprom checksum ...

my problem now friends is to change the ecu whit used one, while i cannot read it whit my tool.
the problem still be how to clone this ecu. i have a full backup whit galletto clone, dont know if he read all otp areas and if can write on.
i would like to do immo off is possible. the problem is how can do immo off and if is possible. if i buy second hand edc17cp02 i will be able whit galletto to make my car work? if not what i must do?

Genuine abritus should do the job , as it can calculate eeprom checksums .... Galletto is for read/write it does nothing about eeprom checksums and OTP ...
