    Hi, my Starview 4 is arriving tomorrow, can someone help by telling me what i need to download in order to get the box up and running, i have an 8GB Flash Drive USB pen, is this what i need to use,

    So What is better to use then, Firmware 1.07 or there is a 1.12, im new to all this so what is the difference, i would have thought the 1.12 was better,

    please can someone advise me

    Not much of a difference, (some bug fixes), otherwise between V1.07 and V1.12. As khenryashley said V1.07 is fine in the UK. Also note firmware version above the V1.07 version will kill the bootloader on a clone box.

    i've just used v1.07 on my starview 4 (uk)
    and had no problems mate

    Same for me, just used v1.07 on my starview 4 and no probs. If you have any probs, just follow the link to the tutorial that khenryashley posted.
