    Default eurovox max red firmware not fit for reciever

    hi there got an original eurovox red reciver when i try to update the firmware with the correct firmware for this box it comes up with firmware not fit for reciver,any help would be great ty

    Its one of two things, one it is not a red (2007) model or two it is the wrong firmware. Also check to see if its a clone or genuine model.

    its genuine red 2007 checked the best i can,took lid off looked inside got me beat at mo ty for quick responce

    Which firmware have you tried? Have you tried blue firmware also?

    If you are 100% sure that it is definitely a red, try earlier firmware revisions. They will not AU but see if they flash and then we can go from there.

    tryed every red firmware will not load same message,the box is in standbye mode stuck on now but i boot up and get message if u know what i mean,hard reset

    this is gonna sound silly.......wot is ya box like at the front is it all black or is there silver on the front..

    be careful coz if u dont put the right firmware on ya box it can brick it

    If the box is stuck with the red standby light on, it is then a capacitor problem and not a firmware one.

    Is this the case?

    all was ok till i tried the firmware download capacitor is 100% ok

    box was on just not auto update
