    Default Outlook, help needed

    Help needed good people, whe i try to open my work outlook i get an error message saying there are errors in a file etc etc run the scan.pst tool (inbox repair tool) I have run the scan.pst and when this is scanning it also gets an error

    anyone ideas how to fix the file?

    Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot Open the outlook windoe. the set of folders cannot be opened. The file C;\Users\name\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook\outl ook.pst is in use and cannot be accessed. Close any application that is using this file and then

    I dont use Outllook myself but I am sure a member will be along shortly to assist you.

    if you have the windows disk you could try the repair option perhaps

    Will do Monday Dreamer had enough for today theres beer to br drank and emails not be worried about for 48 hours!!!

    It sounds like you’re experiencing issues with your Outlook data file. Since you’ve already run the scanpst tool and it encountered errors during the scan, it’s possible that the file is corrupted beyond repair using the built-in tool. You might want to try using third-party PST repair tools that are specifically designed to handle more severe file corruption issues. These tools can sometimes recover more data from damaged PST files. Additionally, make sure to back up your Outlook data regularly to avoid data loss in case of file corruption.
