John Stones is on the brink of completing his transfer from Everton to Manchester City, according to Sky sources.
The deal is "all but done" and confirmation could come in the next 24 hours, but certainly before the end of the week.

Five questions for Man City

As we preview the new Premier League season, we pick out five questions for Man City.

The news comes after Stones was named in Manchester City's Champions League squad, according to UEFA's official website.

UEFA confirmed: "The squad had to be submitted before midnight last night, and that was the squad we received from City."
A source at City admitted to Sky Sports News HQ that the incident was an administrative error, a "huge embarrassment" and a "right royal mess".
Newly-appointed City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed the club's interest in bringing the Everton and England centre-back to the Etihad Stadium.
City are set to play Romanian club Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League play-off round first leg on August 16.
