Delphi DS150E problem reading fuel trim data

Hi!
I'm a happy ovner of Delphi DS150E and I like this tool.
Already I have that "new" version which is 2014... but I really don't believe does it is a real new version.

Ok, the problem what I figured out is:

I use the Short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim data really very often.
Yesterday I had two Citroen C4 Picasso year 2006.
One have an 1.6 diesel engine and the other have a 2.0 diesel engine.

Actually it is the same type of car, same ECU etc. but on the one with 1.6 engine I
have the fuel trim data but on the other I can't read the fuel trim data with my Delphi DS150E.

How is this possible?

I think about to buy one of these ELM327 diag interface to use it to read the fuel trim data from the cars.
Is this a good idea or is there some other "universal" diag tool which is better then these two tools to
read that data?

l use mine with autocom delphi and wurth wow , sometimes if you swap over to another program you find what your looking for , l use wurth wow 90% of the time ..

my go to diag is launch idiag , ace tool

remember to use firmware from your autocom folder and put into wow firmware and overwrite , can use on both then
