Saab Satellite Navigation DVD

Hey folks,

The sat nav dvd in my Saab 9-3 is from 2005 and is kinda out of date.

Anyone know where I can download a later DVD? Rapidshare preferably but torrents are ok too. PM please if it's torrents.

I found a torrent on thepiratebay for a 9-5 2008 version.

Anyone know of any issues using a 9-5 DVD in a 9-3 car?

should`nt be any aslong as both are dvd units.

what make is the unit

I've not physically checked but from what I have read, 2005 models and onwards have a Denso unit. Pre-2005 have a Kenwood unit which is not so good. Denso dvds do not work in Kenwood units.

Which is good for me.

Just need to buy a dual layer dvd to burn this sucker now.

Hi,
Downloaded all the files just opened the first Rar file and got this message during the unzipping:
! CRC failed in SDAL 2008\WE_06Q4.iso. The file is corrupt
! D:\Garrys Files\93 Nav\SDAL_Saab_9-3_Satellite_Navigation_2008.part15.rar: Unexpected end of archive
! D:\Garrys Files\93 Nav\SDAL_Saab_9-3_Satellite_Navigation_2008.part25.rar: Unexpected end of archive
! D:\Garrys Files\93 Nav\SDAL_Saab_9-3_Satellite_Navigation_2008.part52.rar: Unexpected end of archive

Any ideas?

Any ideas?

Did you get it to work? I am reluctant to do all the downloading and get the same error!

Does anyone know whether the 2008 version has postcodes? It's becoming very tiresome not being able to go straight to an address!

Hi have the 2005 version and it already have postcodes andd street numbers. But only in major cities (and not every numbers). It works very well thought.

Same here.
I have corrupted file part13.
How can we solve this problem?

I had 9 corrupted files. I downloaded them again and they worked fine. Something happened in the download or unpacking process.
Bottom line, ALL the files are ok.
I already burned the DVD.

I used a Memorex disc and I'm having problems with the car dvd unit reading the disc. Sometimes it read, sometimes don't. I have to try a Verbatin one.

At least one user made the navigation work. I have 3 images. Wich image do you burn/use? I apreciate a answer please.

Try to re-download the parts that didint work for you, in this case 15,25,52.

And here comes another question, does is matter if its a Double layer or Dual layer dvd-rom??
