    Angry playback madness

hi guys, this is driving me mad, rite here goes, I have an openbox v8s and when I record a film onto my usb and play it back on my box all is fine, but if I take the usb stick down stairs and plug it into my tv and try and watch the same film that way this is wot happens, the film plays but with no sound, and the film splittes into two films, now I have tryed all I know to try but to no avail, like I said works great on my box but not on the telly down stairs.

    any help would be great.

    cheers...chris............................c

is the recording size on the V8s spltting the file into 4gb chunks if so thats the limit of Fat32 if the USB has been formatted in that file structure, The V8s will play the split files as one whole chunk but any other player will not

As for the no sound problem. It sounds like it could be a codec problem. Does your TV allow updates via USB? You could look for updated firmware for your TV on the net & see if that cures the problem.

Failing that, you might need to convert the recording to a different format that your TV can play back without problems.
