    Yes, 100% clone... Bought it before years as reworked...

    I had only ecu, not car... I read flash/mpc also several times... Each time same... Only Eeprom was not same... Why... Really don't know...

    well i read on bench over 10 times (and write a couple) the eeprom of one marrelli 6f3..... always with success...


    and i compare the files..... you have right..... always a bit different like count something.. (44,45,46 etc) but only that different....

    It's maybe a counter...

    As I wrote, after that open it and read by Ktag, several times... Every time the same...

    At the end... Solder down Eeprom and read it...
    Compare with Ktag, and same...

    Compare it with V18, and not same...

    Anyway, i have read-write many times eeproms of that kind of ecus, never had any trouble.....

    i have a fiat right now, i read eeprom via OBD a couple of times to see if there any difference....

    what difference you got comparing mmps and ktag eeproms?

    is like the eeproms that i have upload?

    Update for mpps v18 clone But NOT China..... eu clone.....

    yesterday i brick an ecu....... read in boot mode flash,micro, eeprom.... all ok

    i start one more reading of the flash for compare..... at the half of reading....... no connection with ecu?

    the ecu now is dead..... marelli 6o3...... no connection with op-com no hearing of the pump.... a big F on dash...

    that is Very sad for me..... i had a big respect for that tool.....

    and i dont know if is possible to recover the ecu.....

    i Guess not....

    Marelli ecu are capricious, the best way is to do full backup on bdm with ktag, then flash obd with kess or mpps

    So I think you can recovery your ecu,

    your ktag flash should be FFFFFFF.... , and your flash MPPS is ok, you should find the corrupted zone on ktag flash copy your mpps flash in this location, calc checksums and write the fixed flash with ktag.

    i have exactly the same files (ktag & mpps) no ffffffff

    the only difference are in micro... ktag gives me 513 kb and mpps 512, at the end of the file i have a few lines with ffffffff

    no other different..

    the mpps cut of the power of the pump and i don't know what else.... is like set the ecu to safe mode.....

    and at the end of reading , just recover the ecu....

    now is like i have the ecu in safe mode .......without any driver load....

    Hello Friand, Merry Cristmas for all.

    I bricket blockjed my v18 ,whith used software v21 , not reconize to pc . lock!! , you have file firmware to reflash Cf8051 ... , i not finded cf8051 flashed recange, thanks for any response.

    Hey guys, I have MPPS V18 that I am suspecting has an internal short. Those who have one of these would you mind hooking up power to it and checking voltage on the Kline? I am getting 12 volts which I suspect is incorrect.

    You have zener diode on 12v , i removed D4 and D6

    Hello, i have issues with v18 i cant conect to kline. can works fine. half year it worked perfect .can somoene help me? dont want to buy new tool.
