How to clone ESU-414 "Made in SPAIN" ECU? Volvo and Ford

I have a Volvo with broken ECU that I need to clone to a used.
But what tool or how can I read this?

Hi!
You should read the original eeprom content from the original ecu and then write it to the new ecu.
You have to use some tool for eeprom programming.

I think this would do the job.

Is eeprom on backside?
Frontside is glued hard as I remember

I dont know on which side is the eeprom.

Must be something like Ford's ESU-411

Most likly inside u will fine MPC561 , 95040 eeprom and S29CD016J0MQFM01 flash.... all on the opposite side.

I did clone Eeprom and send to customer.
Car starts but cruisecontroll did not work with used ECU....
OEM workshop did try to update ecu but VIDA say "not compatibelecu" = not possible to download and update used ecu....
is this tru or do OEM workshop dont whant to do update...

Hi!
I don't have your type of car and ecu in my areal, but I will try to help.
Cruiser control should be extra added to the car, I think not all that type of car
have the option of cruiser control.
If that is the situation then you have some ability to adapt the ecu so to say
setup the ecu to recognize the cruiser control.

Maybe the cruiser control switch is bad or wiring?

OEM workshop did try to update ecu but VIDA say "not compatibelecu" = not possible to download and update used ecu....

From my side, OEM workshop should know what is possible and what not,
so they should not try to update if it is not possible, but they tried,
so I think they didn't done anything maybe.

I would check if it is possible to make adaptation to that type of car like
on the VAG group of cars. There I can make adaptation to add some function
or just to disable some function, also the cruiser control too.
